This magnificent plantation is near Mount Kanchenjunga and produces both first and second flush teas of outstanding quality. The bushes flush during the month of April with juicy young leaves and the magic begins with the tender touch of the lady pluckers. 'Two leaves and a Bud' are taken with care, attention and love. These leaves are processed carefully with a traditional 100 year old expertise. The heavenly aroma of this particular Darjeeling ligers long in the mouth. This tea has a beautiful appearance with many silver tips. It has a fresh, flowery spring flavour with a spicy, sweet body and aroma. The infusion is a beautiful bright orange. The local weather has generous rainfall, cool temperature and cloudy sky, broken by bright sunshine. All these factors contribute to producing slow growing conditions which are ideal for the fine fragrance of the tea. These factors of optimum conditions of soil, altitude, weather and heritage tea bushes of top quality are all a combined gift of nature.
