Dark-ish blend surprised me

First I have to say, yes, I am not a fan of dark roasts (though this is medium dark). In spite of that the usual somewhat bitter characteristics of dark roasts was counterbalanced by a distinct sweet fruitiness so that even the long finish was not bitter. Good Job, nice and rich otherwise.

Over the years, our Gayla has created some excellent blends (Blues Blend!) and distributed other unique coffees (Krankl's SQN Blend!), but her newest offering, Southern Belle, may be her crowning achievement. To my taste buds, this is a perfect balance of body, flavor, acidity and aroma. A medium-dark roast, SBC is bright and floral, with great mouthfeel. Kudos!
