Good, strong coffee!

I received this blend last week and have brewed it alone and with some nice decaf. Alone it is strong and rich and has a nice, complex flavor. It also goes well with my Wimp decaf - "Coltrane" mix. Enjoying it, thank you Moore coffee.

This is a darker roast than most of the coffees I’ve tried from here. I drink my coffees black so I used a couple grams less when brewing. It is delicious

…except I’ve only been buying coffee from Gayla for about 6 months. Too bad I didn’t discover Moore coffee sooner. Ventura Hwy is a delicious and flavorful blend. I like to make a double latte In a coffee mug and with milder blends it’s like a large frothed milk; but the Hwy is smooth and flavorful.

I've been buying coffee from and loving Moore Coffee for twenty years and this is one of the best blends Gayla has created. The aromas are beguiling, varied and layered: do I smell chocolate caramel or english toffee or both with hints of allspice and tamarind. The body is medium to full, presenting seem-less structure and acid balance. Silky texture and a finish that'll make you smile and run for a second cup.

Who loves their morning coffee? We have fresh roast, fresh ground coffee from a little boutique coffee roaster in Ventura every morning. Gayla M Moore’s coffee makes my day. This morning we are drinking her newest blend “Ventura Highway “ Super good with hints of cinnamon and chocolate and so very smooth. The best coffee you ever had. The selection is outstanding, there is something for every taste, including teas!
